Wow was she a trooper! She was so sweet!!!! Mom drove all the way from Provo! I was honored! I think baby S new how important it was to mom and dad to get some great pictures of her while she was so tiny just 10 days new. Christina and Chase, you guys are so great! I had a great time even though Chase had one of his worst picture nightmares come true

Im going to start offering Photo jewelry. I will have 2 styles of necklaces one having two sizes of photo pendants. I have one ready to post a pic of and the other necklace is a glass pendant (as soon as they arrive I will post a pic of one)
This is a necklace that is 21 inches long and the pendant shown here is 2×2. The other pendant size that is offered is 1.5×1.5 for those that want something a little smaller. These necklaces can be purchased by anyone, you dont need to have a photography session with me in order to purchase a necklace. Beads and charms on the necklace will vary, you can either buy one I list, or tell me the colors you would like in your necklace. The price for the above necklace as well as the 1.5×1.5 pendant are $30. If you would like them shipped please add $3 to ship. The glass pendant is on a ball chain and the price on that will be $18. So I normally post newborn, baby, kids and family pictures but im so excited when people ask me to do engagments, bridals and weddings!!! Oh my! Here is a sneak peak of there engagement session and yes edited truly different, but i felt they called for it

Just a heads up as Saturday was a nice taste of good weather to come yay!!! I shot an engagement session on Saturday and the weather couldnt have been more perfect! I am currently booked through March (except for newborns) and im now booking into April. A few things going on at Marissa Vargason Photography…..
~Mini sessions for March 20th and 21st are now full.
~Our Manual class on March 7th is now full, but we have decided to open another class that is to be held on April 11th from 9-1, those interested in registering please email me or pay with the paypal button at the bottom of the page. The class size is limited due to the nature of the class. Remember this class is for everyone that has a camera that can shoot in manual mode, so for moms and photographers alike! For those whom have registered for the class on March 7th stay tuned for an email full of information
~Mothers day is coming up and what a better way to celebrate than getting your mom something wonderful this mothers day. I have some amazingly cute necklaces (two styles) to offer your mom this mothers day, as well as albums, storyboards and more. I will be offering some mothers day specials more details to follow in the next week.
~Prices and packaging……my pricing is getting a facelift and my packages even better! Ill have some amazing collections to offer at some amazing discounts. New pricing is going to be in effect on April 1st. If you are concerned about pricing you can book before April 1st to guarantee your pricing. I will also honor new pricing if you book at the old price and feel a killer collection fits your needs better
And because I cant stand looking at a bunch of information and not a picture….here is a quick snapshot i took of my kiddos….im dying to get them outside for a session of their own….

Ive neglected my poor bloggy (you should see my family one, we are still at Christmas eek!) I promise I will post pics and try to keep updated more but ive been really busy working on my studio yay! Okay so a few updates, as far as the manual class on 3/7 there are only 3 spots left!!! If you want to come but cant make it that day send me an email and ill put you on a list for our next manual class and send you an email when we open it up. Also for the business workshop we only have a few spots left for that one as well, its an all day workshop everything to know for your business and more, yummy templates and actions on a cd, and a fun dinner with a private room for a round table discussion!!! This place is said to be so good!!! Im excited to try it! I have new products that im getting ready to introduce as well so stay tuned for that

YAY!!!!!!!!!! and at a price that cant be beat!!!!! {which is awesome in this economy!} There is no set theme but felt that this would be an awesome time to do Easter pictures!!!! Easter comes early this year so it will still be chilly outside. Okay here are the details…..I will only be taking a maximum of 24 participants…Thats it.

The dates are for Friday March 20th, and Saturday March 21st and will be held in my studio in syracuse.
*special is for one subject if you have additional children the cost is $75 for up to three children and $100 for more than 3 kids. This also allows more high resolution images as well 45 minutes of photo bliss.
**These studio sessions are not meant for trash the cake, or for newborn sessions it is just too hard to rush those novelty sessions
