I was surprised but they are still here and they still look great. Although I didnt get any great shots of my girls (go figure) I had this beautiful model. She definitely doesnt look her age in this pic! Tulips are a sign of summer to come, and man I hope it comes quick!

Im in need of some models. I have some creative ideas I would love to explore and if you are up to it please contact me. Heres the scoop. The sitting fees will be free, and you will also receive 1 11×14 of your choice from the session. You will need to sign a model release though as these images will be used on my website. Okay so here is what Im looking for….first come first serve. I will check both my email and blog comments. Oh and most of the locations are either in Davis, or Weber Counties, but Im definitely wanting to explore downtown salt lake city for my urban shoots!

(2 at least) Twins of any age, girls, boys, girl/boy, doesnt matter to me
(2 at least) Maternity sessions need to be between 32 and 34 weeks, if you will be there soon, we can schedule ahead.
(1 more) Kids for urban shoots. Any age really as long as you are up for my urban looks!
(2 ) Seniors. Either graduating in 2008 or 2009.
(1 more) Couples. Any age really.
(Full) Families.
(2 at least) Engagements. Common I know wedding season is coming up!

This is an amazing event going on and I encourage any other photographers reading my blog to get involved in this! Its amazing. Now I need your help! I am looking for a couple of children whose parents are unable to afford photographs of their children. Project childhood is about capturing the essence of children through photographs. Since I love photographing children this is a perfect fit for me! So babies, toddlers, children it doesnt matter as long as I can capture the essence! Please email me at marissavargasonphotography@gmail.com. Im doing this on the honor system so if you know of a child or children that would be perfect for this please have their parents contact me. Again, this is truly on the honor system, so lets remember how wonderful it would be to these parents who are unable to afford something like this and lets set them up with the best gift of all, a memory of their child. Also the family of the chosen children will receive photographs from their session. This is during the month of April only so time is of the essence.
